Q: I have not received my purchase receipt email with download links.
A: The purchase receipt will be sent to the email you have provided at checkout. Please check your SPAM/Junk email folders as well as your Trash folder to see if it is there. The email will be from [email protected] and will have the title: Purchase Receipt and your Download. You may also download your purchase from the order conformation page once you have completed your order.
Q: I am unable to checkout.
A: Please make sure you have completed all the information on the checkout page as well as scrolled down and clicked to agree to the terms and conditions.
Q: What format is required for these documents?
A: We offer three different types of files depending on your purchase. All are Microsoft Office formats and depending on the document ordered are delivered in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint. They are digital Downloads and have been tested on Microsoft Office XP 10.0 in Windows XP and higher versions. For that reason we can only confirm that they work on Microsoft Office XP 10.0 in Windows XP and higher versions. The documents will open in Microsoft Office for Mac however some formatting issues may be present and will need to be corrected.
Q: Will your documents work on a MAC?
A: The documents will open in Microsoft Office for Mac however some formatting issues may be present and will need to be corrected. For this reason we unable to guarantee 100% direct compatibility with Microsoft Office for Mac.
Q: What exactly is a business plan template?
A: A business plan template as its name suggests is a document template which may be used for funding or for personal use. It is a guide or a roadmap for your business written in a way to make sure that you have thought of everything such as costs, market, expansion, growth, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Imagine if you were to take a 5 year long trip to a foreign country. Would you go with your plans just written down on a napkin? Or would you plan your flight, costs, budget, hotel and spots you wish to visit? A business plan in a sense is like planning this trip, you will be spending thousands of dollars on your new venture and you need to make sure you have everything planned on how you are going to spend those dollars. A Business Plan Template provides you the basic foundation to build this plan upon, with general costs and the basic format to create a business plan.
Q: What is a business plan used for?
A: A business plan can be used for personal or investor use to make sure you are prepared for your venture or to assure others that you are prepared so they will lend you money. Most anyone who has finance experience and who is going to loan you money will expect to see a business plan.
Q: Why are your business plan templates so affordable?
A: I am sure a simple Google search will show you that most business plans cost anywhere from $350 to $1,200. We have even seen companies charge $9,500 for a basic 21 page plan. We think this is very unrealistic for most small start-ups. We are entrepreneurs ourselves and with that in mind our goal is to try to empower as many individuals as possible plan their ventures. By offering you a template we save on costs of writing each plan individually and pass on those savings to you. If you have the drive and passion our business plan templates are a great do-it-yourself way to save money while having something you can put together and present yourself.
Q: What is a hybrid business plan template?
A: A Hybrid business plan template is in between a business plan template and sample. In other words instead of “fill-in-the-blank” sections there are sections that are red with an example of what should be written. See our sample pages for examples. Since each business is different depending on location, market size, unique selling points and biographies there is no way to create a complete Turn-key business plan, unless you pay someone to research and write it for you from scratch. Hence to save costs you are able to purchase, modify and use this business plan template as a foundation to create your own plan.
Q: What is a PowerPoint pitch deck that you offer?
A: A PowerPoint Pitch deck is a slide show in Microsoft PowerPoint with preselected images according to your niche market as well as transition effects used to show investors and lenders your concept. Our pitch decks are templates and come with suggestions on what to add to each slide. Basically it is a presentation based upon your niche so you can present the basics of your business plan visually.
Q: Do you offer any type of guarantees?
A: Since these are business plan templates and because each type of business venture is different and with so many variations there is no way to guarantee these plans. Also due to the costs we offer the plans at we are unable to make any changes or edits to the plans. We are considering offering editing and custom written plans in the future, however at this time we are focusing on developing more templates.
Q: Can I get a custom template created for me?
A: Unfortunately at this time we are unable to create custom templates or plans. However if demand is there for a certain topic we may consider it. We are attempting to create about 1 to 2 templates a month. Each template takes us about 160 to 200 hours to research, write and proofread, edit and lay out. So it is a time consuming process.
